About us

Welcome to AHC International Media

AHC International Media was created with one simple goal: to make reliable information about Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood (AHC) easier to find, understand and share.

For many years, families, clinicians, researchers and advocates have produced valuable resources—conference presentations, family stories, interviews, news reports, educational videos and scientific publications. Unfortunately, much of this information is scattered across the internet and often difficult to find.

Our mission is to bring these resources together in one place.

Today, AHC International Media is evolving into a comprehensive knowledge library that combines:

  • Educational videos
  • Scientific research and article summaries
  • Conference presentations
  • Family stories and lived experiences
  • Media coverage
  • Clinical resources and guidelines
  • Historical archives of the AHC community

Our goal is not to replace medical advice or scientific publications, but to make knowledge more accessible to everyone affected by AHC.

Built by the AHC Community

AHC International Media has been developed by people who have lived with AHC every day—not only researchers and healthcare professionals, but also families who understand the challenges of this rare disorder firsthand.

The project is driven by the belief that sharing knowledge accelerates understanding, improves care and brings researchers, clinicians and families closer together.

Looking Ahead

As new discoveries are made, new treatments are developed and new family experiences are shared, AHC International Media will continue to grow.

With the support of modern technology, including artificial intelligence, we aim to organise complex information into easy-to-understand summaries while always linking back to original sources whenever possible.

Our long-term vision is simple:

To become the world’s most comprehensive and trusted open library of knowledge about Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood.

Together, we can ensure that no family, clinician or researcher has to start their search from scratch.
