Human Timebombs – Documentary

Posted on July 29, 2026July 29, 2026 By siggi

Human Timebombs

Human Timebombs tells the story of one of the world’s most complex neurological disorders: Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood (AHC).

Despite its devastating impact, AHC remains unfamiliar to most neurologists, and only a small percentage of the public has ever heard of it—or of the thousands of rare diseases that affect millions of families worldwide. AHC needs a voice, and we hope Human Timebombs can help provide one.

This documentary is about more than a single rare disease. It is about the families living with the unknown, the researchers searching for answers, and the hope that scientific breakthroughs for AHC could unlock treatments for many more common neurological disorders.

By investing in rare disease research today, we may improve the lives of millions of people tomorrow.

Together, we can raise awareness, accelerate research, and bring hope to families around the world.

If you would like to support this mission or make a donation, please contact your nearest AHC association or visit www.ahceurope.org.
